Frequently Asked Questions

The first two nights in Leh allow your body to acclimatise to the high altitude before travelling to Nubra and Pangong — this is essential for a safe, comfortable trip.

Mid-May to September is the best window, when the high passes to Nubra and Pangong are open and roads are accessible.

Yes, the Inner Line Permits required for Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake are arranged and included.

Acclimatise for the first 48 hours, stay hydrated, avoid alcohol, and move slowly. An oxygen cylinder is kept in the vehicle as a precaution.

Pangong is a stunning high-altitude colour-changing lake, while Nubra Valley offers sand dunes and double-hump camels — reached via the famous Khardung La pass.

Travellers with heart or respiratory conditions should consult a doctor first, as the high altitude can be demanding. The acclimatisation days help, but caution is advised.
